Battersea Park Fireworks 2026: 7 and 8 November, Times

Battersea Park Fireworks 2026 is on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November. The fireworks start at about 8.30pm on the Saturday and 7pm on the Sunday, and tickets must be bought in advance: there are no sales at the gate. Every detail below is from the organiser’s own homepage and information page, checked on 25 September.

The event is run by Enable Leisure and Culture for Wandsworth Council. The organiser says the two nights are “completely different shows with different soundtracks”, both designed by Titanium Pyrotechnics, the company behind the Mayor of London’s last three New Year’s Eve displays.

Timings for each night

On the Sunday the car parks, park businesses and concessions all close at 2pm, so plan any afternoon in the park accordingly. There is no re-admission on either night.

Who is on

The organiser’s Saturday page lists Rudimental DJ and the Latin band Conjunto Sabroso (“Fiesta Latina”) before the display, and a Disco Ceilidh afterwards, starting at 8.55pm.

The Sunday page lists Arcadia’s Lords of Lightning show and the Taylor Swift tribute Fearlessly Taylor before the display, then a Pop Anthems Afterparty in the big top with DJ Josh Lovatt from 7.25pm. Sunday is the earlier night and the better one for young children.

Both nights have fairground rides, with half-price rides and £5 drinks in the first hour (6pm to 7pm on Saturday; the Sunday page gives 4.30pm to 5.30pm for its happy hour). Bars and food stalls take cards only, no cash.

Ticket prices

The organiser’s information page lists these general admission prices for 2026. Each is a release tier, so the price you pay depends on when you buy:

The page lists Late Release below General Admission; we have reproduced its figures as published. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, and the organiser runs no resale or waiting list, so buy only through its ticketing partner, Kaboodle. Everyone under 18 must be with an adult aged 18 or over, and one adult may bring at most four under-18s.

Registered disabled ticket holders can apply for a free Essential Companion ticket after buying a general admission ticket, through a form on the accessibility page. An accessible viewing platform at the back of the viewing area must be booked in advance; the nearest gate to it is Sun Gate. A few blue badge bays on Prince of Wales Drive near Alexandra Gate are first come, first served, and the road closes at 5pm on Saturday and 4pm on Sunday.

The half-price scheme: not yet announced for 2026

Wandsworth runs an Access for All concession scheme, and in each of the last two years it has put 5,000 half-price fireworks tickets through it. The council’s September 2025 announcement set out how it worked: apply through the fireworks website, get sent a personal booking link with the discount already applied, and bring proof of eligibility on the night.

For 2026, the fireworks site’s old Access for All page has been taken down and the council’s news feed carries no 2026 fireworks announcement as of 25 September. In 2024 the council’s announcement came in October, so it may yet follow.

Eligibility is for Wandsworth residents on means-tested benefits or in targeted groups. The council’s Access for All eligibility page lists children on free school meals, looked-after children and care leavers, asylum seekers and refugees, and people receiving Universal Credit, Jobseeker’s Allowance, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, Disability Living Allowance, Incapacity Benefit or Severe Disablement Allowance, Carer’s Allowance, Child and Working Tax Credit, Income Support or Pension Credit.

Getting there, and why not to drive

There is no parking in the park apart from a few disabled bays. The organiser names Battersea Park, Queenstown Road, Victoria and Clapham Junction stations, Battersea Power Station on the Northern line, bus routes 170, 19, 319 and 345, and a cycle park at Albert Gate, the only gate where you can leave a bike. Hired bikes cannot be left inside the park.

Its own tip: coming from Clapham Junction, use Albert Gate, which it expects to be much quieter than Sun Gate on both nights.

When we checked Wandsworth’s Roadworks and Events Bulletin for the week commencing 7 September, Albert Bridge was closed to vehicles by Kensington and Chelsea, with traffic sent over Chelsea Bridge and Battersea Bridge, and open to people on foot and bikes. The rules that catch people out

From the organiser’s information page: bag checks on entry; no food, glass, alcohol or sparklers brought in; no animals except registered assistance dogs with an Assistance Dogs (UK) ID book; no full-face masks, realistic replica weapons, or bulky costumes that could hide items. Tickets can be printed or shown on a phone.

Residents near the park can call the event team on 0203 959 0015, staffed 9am to 5.30pm from Monday 2 to Friday 6 November, 10am to midnight on the Saturday, 10am to 10pm on the Sunday, and 9am to 5.30pm from Monday 9 to Thursday 12 November.

Is there another display in Wandsworth?

No. Battersea Park is the borough’s display, and the council runs no other.

Be careful with what search engines still surface here. A page on putneysw15.com promising a free fireworks display in Wandsworth Park on 5 November, and a free Tooting Bec display, is headed “Where to find a Fireworks Show 2003”. Neither display runs now.

If the ticket price puts you off, the pantomime and Christmas shows and the Christmas lights switch-ons are the borough’s next big dates.
